This video is a compilation of some of the enlightening lectures and demonstrations of martial applications and forms that Master Chen Zhonghua gave at two workshops in the U.S.

The first workshop was held at Stan Tabor's studio in Milbury, MA. Master Chen discusses such topics as forming good habits through the form, the body is one piece with a changeable foundation, connecting everything to the center, the difference between Taiji and other martial arts, and stories of Hong Junsheng and Chen Fake. The application of "Buddha's Warrior Attendant Pounds Mortar" is explained in detail and there is a lot of push hands with explanation of techniques.

The second workshop is held at Michael Calandra's dojo in New York. There is further explanation of push hands techniques and Master Chen uses a few great analogies to explain Taiji theory. Master Chen is also shown leading students through drills and the Yilu routine.

Although this disc is home movie quality and the audio and video are out of sync, there is more than enough quality instruction and ideas to make this disc a must for the Taijiquan junkie.
